Celebrations were many at this year's Cornwall Tourism Awards 2024, where businesses across Cornwall secured wins for their innovation and success throughout the year.

The awards covered everything from glamping, camping, hotels and B&Bs to cafes, pubs, restaurants, attractions and visitor experiences. There were also cross sector awards for ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism, international tourism, accessibility and inclusivity and new local tourism businesses.

The event - now in its 23rd year - was proudly sponsored by Cornwall Business School. The School - which offers extensive support to local and national businesses, as well as courses across business and marketing, management, events and tourism - was a headline sponsor this year, underlining the commitment to supporting the county's tourism industry.

Among the attendees were Creative Events Management BA students supporting with the event delivery, alongside Falmouth graduates and alumni who were taking home awards on behalf of Cornish businesses.

Paul Russell - course leader of Sustainable Tourism Management BA and Sustainable Festival Management BA - also presented the Regenerative Tourism Award to Lovat Parks, for their focus on reducing impact on their sites. “They believe in business being a force for good," says Paul, "and are the first B-Corp holiday park group."
