Welcome to a day in my life as a Theatre & Performance student at Falmouth University. Come with me for a day in the studio.
It's going to be a long day, but we are rehearsing for our final assessment.
So, my friends and I, we've developed our own system. So basically, the first one to wake up just creates a poll on our WhatsApp group to see if everyone is awake, and when someone is not awake, we just try to call them or like message them so we can all be on time in the studio.
I’ve got a bag full of clothes because we are trying our outfits for our show and we're going to do a photo shoot today, between us.
Now I need to make my lunch, and I need to run. I'm not going to lie, like, in the mornings I'm very slow. When we have sessions at 9:00 a.m, I just need to rush, for real, if I just get distracted for one second... I just missed the bus.
Welcome guys. We are here; just a normal day doing theatre and performance.
So, these days before our assessment, basically, what we have the most is fieldwork sessions. So, it's only us working. What we need to work, basically. Usually, what we do with my group is that we talk about it maximum like the day before and we make a little plan of what we want to do.
We wanted to do a little photo shoot so we can have our photo for our program for our show and also, we wanted to record some clips so we can try to make an intro.
And then it's lunch break. Because I was rushing, I didn't make a proper lunch, and I was craving a sandwich too and I was craving that one specifically from the cafe in AMATA.
So, then we had a meeting with our tutor, that is like our year group and our final field work where we decided to rehearse with our final script because we finally have a script!
Back to my blog, people. After a long day in the studio, time to relax.
It's my time to sleep, finally. I don't know what time is it? It's almost 11:00 p.m. So yeah, thanks for joining me in a day from one place to another but mostly in the studio, as you can see.
Bye.
