Two Launchpad startups have been shortlisted for the 2021 Tech South West Awards.
Following on from their success at the awards last year, where they scooped Best Startup, Codices, which develops live interactive online gameshows, is shortlisted in two categories for Best Innovation and International Success. Community seed sharing platform Plotty is up for the Clean Tech award.
Tim Edwards, Codices CEO and Co-founder, said: “As a team, we are delighted to be nominated for two awards for our continued growth with Quiz Kit, which today, has around three million viewers and over sixteen thousand streamers each month across the world. For the majority of 2021 we have also been working hard on an unannounced project which we can’t wait to share in the near future.”
Alex Craven, Head of Investment at Falmouth University, added: “It’s always great to see Launchpad startups being recognised in their sector. It’s testament to the dedication and belief they have in their innovations, and we wish Plotty and Codices the best of luck at this year’s awards.”
The Tech South West Awards recognise and celebrate the sector’s incredible innovation, talent, creativity, entrepreneurship, business success, education, leadership and diversity. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in November.
