Boudica

Boudica is Queen of the Iceni people in ancient Britain in the year 61CE. The Romans have taken over the country. When Boudica's husband dies, she expects Rome to honour their agreement and pass the Iceni crown to Boudica and her two daughters.

When Rome refuses and commits horrendous atrocities on Boudica and her daughters, she units the Celts of Britain and leads an army against the Romans in one of the most celebrated revolts in Roman history.

Tristan Bernays' play is a fast moving, high action piece.
