Hi, I'm Zoe. I'm a student at Falmouth University and I'm going to show you all the facilities that Falmouth University has to offer.
First of all, I'm going to head to the Stannary to grab some food. The Stannary serves a wide range of food throughout the week for catered and non-catered students and all dietary requirements.
Next, we head to the library which has such a diverse range of books and an archives and specials collections. It has so many DVDs, CDs, VHS's, magazines - anything you name it .
Next, is the Fashion & Textiles Institute which has industrial sewing and knitting machines, specialist equipment and in-house photographic studios. It also has contemporary costume stores which is added to throughout the year by students and lecturers. It also has specialist material shops that can be accessed throughout the year.
Then we headed for a coffee at the Sustainability Cafe which is zero waste cafe on campus. After this we head to the School of Film & Television which contains a green screen studio, a 128 seat cinema, three production studios, stop-motion and motion caption studios, and DaVinci Resolve grading suites and two production hubs.
Below the School of Film & Television is the Institute of Photography which contains industry-standard equipment that could be loaned out, studios with professional equipment, professional underwater cameras and multiple dark rooms.
Here we are heading over to AMATA which has 10 high spec performance and rehearsal studios, 200 capacity flexible theatre space, 9 practice rooms and studios for acoustics and amplified sound. it even has its own Cafe.
Falmouth has the most amazing scenery on Penryn Campus. Here we have the secret garden, which in summer has hammocks between the trees. It even has its own veg patch and greenhouse.
Next, I'm going to head to the Falmouth Campus which includes the Fox Cafe and this mural painted by students. Students work here throughout the day, upstairs and downstairs.
All art students have access to their own studio space and places to store their work and you can use these at any time. We also have places such as the print making studio that can be used by any students across either campus. So any equipment on either campus that you'd like to be inducted on, you can on a Wednesday's workshop and then you can continue to use it throughout the year.
Falmouth Campus is just as beautiful as it has its own tropical gardens which you can walk through to get to campus every day.
