Nick Manley
Lecturer
Nick has worked worldwide in the industry for over 30 years as an award winning documentary cameraman and Drama Director of Photography. In addition he spent time as a series director for factual programming at the BBC based in Glasgow.
He still works on broadcast projects having completed 4 seasons of crime drama " London Kills" currently avaliable on Amazon Prime and BBC I Player, as well as two seasons of " Hope Street" for BBC Northern Ireland.
He has worked for the United Nations ,shot RTS award winning documentaries, been shortlisted for the Grierson Award, winner Gran Prix at the Cognac film Festival,Best Film Madrid documentary festival, Sundance Jury prize nomination.Gold Medal New York Film festival and winner Wildscreen festival awards, channel nomination for BAFTA and nomination for IFTA.
Nick is an active member of The Guild of British Camera Technicians , Screen Craft Rights and Directors UK.
Nick is keen to share the knowledgehe and skills has aquired over his career as tutor and practice leader on MA and BA courses
