I love interior design because it’s the perfect mix of creativity and problem-solving. There’s something really exciting about taking an idea and turning it into a space that not only looks great but also works effortlessly for the people using it. I enjoy playing with colour, texture, and layout to bring personality into a design, whether it’s a cosy home, a buzzing restaurant, or a sleek office. For me, it’s all about creating spaces that feel good to be in—somewhere people actually want to spend time. I also love that design is always evolving, so there’s always something new to learn, experiment with, and be inspired by.
I’m a BA (Hons) qualified Interior Designer - I was lucky enough to study at Glasgow School of Art which was a stunning piece of architecture in its time. I’ve worked on everything from high-end homes to high-end and high street restaurants, bringing creative ideas to life for clients such as Hilton, Costa Coffee, Sony PlayStation, and John Lewis. I love designing spaces that not only look good but also feel great to be in. When I’m not working for Falmouth University, I teach Design Engineering at Cranleigh School and freelance on interior design projects from my home in the Surrey Hills.
