Third year students on Falmouth’s Journalism & Creative Writing BA(Hons) course are currently hosting their very own radio show ‘Toss the Cap’. Broadcast on Falmouth’s Source FM, the show can be heard at 12:05 every Thursday in March. It's all about how to get a job after you graduate.

The show is packed with important content, covering everything from getting a job after graduation, to the different types of work experience available, and hosts discussions around how to best market yourself.

Lecturer in Journalism & Creative Writing BA(Hons), Martha Dixon, said: “It’s a pretty exciting way to get stuck into real-life broadcasting. The pressure that being live on air puts you under makes this experience very special for our students.”

Third year student, Aimee, added: “It’s given me so much more insight into the field, and has helped me to gain confidence in doing something I want to pursue.”

Listen to ‘Toss the Cap’ live at 12:05 every Thursday in March on the ‘A Chat with Victoria’ show. Alternatively, you can listen to it on your favourite podcast app.
