Mature Students

Mature students (those aged 21 and over at the beginning of their undergraduate studies) bring new perspectives and experiences to university life – much to the benefit of other students.

Support for mature students

We want to equip mature students with the knowledge they need to choose a course, apply and study with us at Falmouth. Whether you're wanting to level-up in your career, switch paths or study for leisure, there's a place for you at Falmouth.

We understand that there are many reasons for coming to higher education later in life and that, as a mature student, your experiences and time in education may differ from other students. Therefore, during your decision-making process, we offer bespoke webinars for mature students. These include topics such as personal statement and portfolio masterclasses that offer advice and guidance on how to use your unique experiences throughout the application process.

If you have been away from education for a longer period of time, or have a non-standard educational background, you can apply for our degrees with an Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL).
