Booking Information and Tickets

On this page you can find information around registering for your graduation, as well as purchasing guest tickets and hiring your robes.
Eligible students will receive an email inviting them to register for their graduation ceremony. You must complete the registration process by the deadline given in your invitation. You will not be able to attend your ceremony if you do not meet this deadline.
Do not wait for confirmation that you have successfully completed your studies. If, subsequently, you do not pass your course, your place at Graduation will be cancelled. You will then need to seek a refund for your gown hire.
Registration
You will receive an email to your student account in mid-February formally inviting you to register your place at Graduation. Your attendance at your graduation ceremony is free but you must remember to register otherwise you will not be able to attend.
If you have any questions regarding Graduation, please contact the Graduation team.

Do not wait for confirmation that you have successfully completed your studies. If, subsequently, you do not pass your course, your place at graduation will be cancelled.
Attendance at graduation for graduating students is free. However, graduating students must wear academic gowns, which can be hired. Details about gown hire are available below. Guest tickets are available for a small fee and are initially limited to two per student.
If you can’t or don’t want to attend your ceremony, Student Programmes & Achievement (SPA) will instead post your degree certificate to you. Please make sure you have updated your student record with your full legal name and correspondence address. You can do this on MyFalmouth or by emailing student.records@falmouth.ac.uk.
If you’re not sure whether you can or want to attend your graduation ceremony, we recommend that you register yourself and your guests regardless. You can then cancel later by emailing graduation@falmouth.ac.uk. If you don’t book a place before the deadline, you will not be allowed to attend.
Guest Information
Once registration is open, you will be able to purchase a maximum of two guest tickets for family, friends or loved ones to attend your ceremony with you. These will cost £15 per guest. Further details on how to purchase guest tickets will be provided in your registration email.
Extra guest tickets may become available in June, and we will notify students who have registered and confirmed their attendance when this happens.
Information regarding live streaming venues will be provided shortly.
All guests will be able to attend the reception in the Italian Gardens after the ceremony has taken place.
Hiring your gown
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions, so you must wear an academic robe hired from our official suppliers, Ede & Ravenscroft. You will be able to order your robes at the same time you register.
We welcome national dress for international students, underneath your cap and gown.
