Games Expo 2025

See the work of our talented students from across Falmouth's Games Academy.

Hosted at AMATA, the Games Expo will feature industry speakers, talks and – most importantly – real, playable games made by our incredible Games Academy students.  

The Games Expo 2025 will include:  

  • Talks, Interviews and panels talking about a wide variety of subjects from the dev process, to running your own indie game company 
  • A showcase of student games to play and experience 
  • Live demos and interactive experiences

The Private View of our Games Expo sets the stage for a thrilling launch event, offering a special first glimpse into the innovative games and immersive experiences made by our students.

This occasion encourages our students to invite their friends and family, so they can share all of their hard work!

 

Students, Industry VIPs

The Industry Day at our Games Expo welcomes esteemed guests from prominent game studios to engage with our students' projects, providing invaluable feedback and critiques.

Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in portfolio reviews, panel discussions, and networking sessions.

This day is dedicated solely to students, alongside industry professionals and esteemed alumni, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing skills and forging meaningful connections within the gaming industry.

School visits

Schools and colleges from across the UK are invited to attend the Games Expo. School groups will have the opportunity to play a range of student-made games from foundation all the way up to postgraduate level.

Students will get an insight into the game design process as well as have the chance to meet current students and staff from the Games Academy.

 

 

 

General public admission

Hosted at AMATA, the Games Expo will feature student games, industry booths, and interactive experiences from our VR and robotics courses, as well as cross-university collaborative performances using motion capture technology.

Tickets to the Games Expo are free but booking is advised.
