Company Ruach and Company Avaia Double Bill

A performance double bill, featuring the Companies Ruach and Avaia.

Company Ruach:
This dance performance is a religious reimagining of the ‘The Rite of Spring’, using themes such as sacrifice, repetition, and darkness, but shifting the focus to Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. Through exploring torment, suffering, and redemption, while blending mystery and illusion to reflect humanity’s complexities - both troubled and capable of goodness.

This was developed from a personal testimony of overcoming witchcraft, jealousy, and depression, while highlighting the importance of faith in Christ, the movement embodies the message that no matter how far we stray or how many times we fall, Christ is always waiting with open arms, offering unconditional love and forgiveness.
