Finding inspiration in your surroundings

Short film Around Me is an open letter that was infused and compiled out of my personal sonic and visual experiences in Falmouth to sculpt a sense of isolation, confinement and its way to salvation in a coastal home.

All video footage has been shot and edited in Falmouth by myself. So was the music and sound design recorded and edited by me following daily routine days in Cornwall, away from home.

Video diaries warm the heart of mine, especially remembering the origins of such type of cinema, going back to the roots of mine, and could’ve been a big reason this project turned out the way it did.
