Sam Perkin
Lecturer
Samantha has 30 years experience in business management and finance. She has worked in many SME businesses and franchises. She enjoys the practical side of business management. Samantha has taken a leading role in a program of producing e-learning modules for AAT and fellow accounting professionals. AAT have won awards for the quality of these products. This process involved producing clear information aimed carefully at the targeted readers.
In a voluntary capacity she is on two of the The Association of Taxation Technicians Members Steering Group. She is past Chair of AAT Cornwall, which won Best Branch in the UK in 2012.
Her role at Falmouth University gives me the opportunity to help a new generation of business owners to balance their businesses. Understanding that financial records underpin strategic and environmental decisions. Encouraging this generation of influencers to think about the complete picture of People, Planet and Profit as they begin to change the business world for the better. Her aim is to develop leaders of tomorrow who specialise in innovative, thoughtful and respectful business.
