Rose Forshall
Lecturer, Illustration BA(Hons)
Rose Forshall is an illustrator, printmaker and lecturer teaching on the BA (Hons) illustration. She graduated from Falmouth University with an MA in illustration in 2012. Since Rose started teaching in 2013, there has been a continually evolving symbiotic relationship between her practice as illustrator and her practice as teacher.

Research Interests
Research interests and expertise
‘Thinking through drawing’ and ‘learning through making’ are central to her work and at the core of the modules she teaches on. Themes explored in her practice are the environment, identity and place, rural life, human connection to the sea, people who live by the sea, the relationship of words and pictures in picturebooks, contemporary themes in children’s picturebooks.
