Richard Milligan
Lecturer
Richard is an animator and 3D artist with ten years of professional experience. Children's TV features heavily in his CV but his background also covers digital design, video editing, 3D modelling, branding and layout.
Having taught games development for a number of years both in HE and FE, he prides himself on motivating and getting the most out of his students.
A keen artist, musician, writer, explorer, dancer, martial artist, sea-swimmer, surfer, acrobat, photographer and many other things, Richard is renowned for his boundless energy and enthusiasm.

Research Interests
Research interests and expertise
Primarily focused around expressing character through animation, Richard is currently looking into ways of integrating complex animation into analogue control systems such as the HTC Vive.
