Matt Watkins
Lecturer in Computing
Matt is an artist, lecturer, developer and designer. He has been responsible for the visual and technical design of a wide range of interactive work from web and mobile based projects and games, robotics and sensor driven interfaces in galleries and festivals. He also collaborated on award-winning locative and pervasive games played live in the streets.
He has worked as an interactive designer and producer on projects with Hewlett & Packard, Sony, the BBC, Channel 4, Tate, Birmingham City Council and the MET Office. He has recently completed a MA at the Royal College of Art in Digital Direction.
The main focus of his research is about telling stories through sustainable robots and immersive audio.
