Mark Ricketts

Mark joined Falmouth University as Head of Digital Portfolio and PMO (Project Management Office) in September 2020, a role that managed the portfolio and PMO team running the digital projects and programmes during a pivotal change period for the University. Mark has been managing the Fal Flex Transition programme of work to bring in-house the remaining online courses run with a partner. He has recently become Senior Head of Strategic Transformation.
Prior to that, Mark worked at the University of Bath for 15 years, first as Head of Internal Audit for the University’s in-house team. He became Director of Process Improvement, reporting to the Senior Management Team and supporting the start-up of their strategic change portfolio and eventually leading their first Digital PMO.
Mark has a BA in Mathematics. After University, Mark trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He moved to Norway and started his career in Internal Audit at Orkla ASA based in Oslo. He then worked for Exide Technologies, a global manufacturing company, and became their European Internal Audit Manager.
Mark enjoys walking with his family, especially in Cornwall which has such a wide variety of amazing scenery. He is also a keen under gardener, but has a lot to learn.
