Marianne Kakko

Marianne has worked many years in the field of styling before moving from a Fashion Market Editor role to education. Marianne’s primary work experience is from the field of creative content production, image creation and fashion consulting/styling. She has assisted many sought-after stylists and worked in Wallpaper* Magazine and Dazed Magazine. Marianne also has previous experience as a garment fitter and seamstress in the fashion industry. Additionally, Marianne has studied photography, and make-up and holds a BA in Fashion Design from Falmouth University and an MSc in Applied Psychology in Fashion from London College of Fashion degrees.
Marianne’s area of expertise are concept and trend research, garment sourcing, shoot and show production, model casting, fashion magazine and assistant work, garment fitting, and mending and customisation.
