Kamran Harandy

External Funding Manager

Kamran leads a small team of Research & Knowledge Exchange funding specialists covering the full lifecycle of funding, from Pre to Post award. 

He has over 17 years of experience in Higher Education funding, spanning local structural funds including European structural and investment funds, Research & Innovation funding including Framework and Horizon programmes, National development Agencies and charity funding. 

Driven by the value the University brings to regional growth, Kamran oversees a portfolio of projects spanning Research, Innovation and Business support and sits on the Board of Trustees for two local Creative Industries SMEs.
