Jessie Metcalf
Lecturer, Costume Design for Film & Television BA(Hons)
Jessie joined Falmouth University in 2021 as a lecturer in Costume Design for Film & Television. An alumna of Falmouth University, she spent 10 years in London working as a costumer for Film & TV before returning to Cornwall.
Specialising in the role of wardrobe mistress, she loves to design and fit supporting artists, adding authenticity to the scene through background character development. Her credits include Cruella, Disney 2021, Aladdin, Disney 2019, The Nest, IFC Films 2020, Beauty and the Beast, Disney 2017, and Wonder Woman, Warner Bros 2017.
She continues to be an active member of the industry, working around her role as a lecturer as a costume daily on local productions including Doc Martin series 10, ITV 2022 and Malory Towers series 5, BBC 2024.
