Gwynedd Williams
Research Fellow
My career started as a criminal intelligence analyst before moving into public health where I have worked both in the North West and South West of England in local public health teams and at a national level in Wales. I set up and ran the first AAA Screening programme across the South West Peninsula including a small island population.
I am passionate about health inequalities and have undertaken research on the fishing community in Cornwall. Since joining Falmouth University as a Research Fellow in early 2021 I am continuing this passion by exploring the feasibility of e-health platforms in care homes via satellite connectivity and assessing if SMS text messaging can access and amplify the voice of unpaid carers.
