Emma Lewis
Associate Lecturer, Illustration BA(Hons)
Emma Lewis is an illustrator and writer from London, and creates work spanning both narrative and commercial illustration, though her primary focus is illustrating books. She is largely inspired by folk art, mid-century picture books and travel, which are all reflected in her distinctive style of working.
Emma is the author of several books, and was the recipient of the BolognaRagazzi Opera Prima Award in 2017. She has been twice nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and her books have been translated into a variety of languages worldwide. She lives and works in Cornwall.
