Andy Smith
Technical Manager/Technical Tutor
Andy joined Falmouth University in 2013 after completing his undergraduate studies in Communication Design. His skills range from hardware and full-stack software development and prototyping, systems administration, electronics design for manufacture and CAD/CAM.
He currently manages the technical team at the Games Academy, and teaches team-based development across the department's courses.

Delivered a two day workshop at Falmouth University AIR Sandpit on wearable technology targeted at artists, designer/makers and creative business with no previous electronics or programming experience. The workshop covered basic electronics principles, textiles skills and approaches to wearable electronics, and a hands-on introduction to the Arduino Lilypad platform with pair-programming exercises.
