Ana Reis José has been working in academia and the professional sector since 2000, focusing on education, marketing, and corporate social responsibility. She holds a PhD in International Marketing, an MBA in Digital Marketing, and an MSc in Marketing. She has also worked as a Strategic Marketing Consultant.

Her teaching portfolio covers modules such as marketing, sustainability, strategy, and research methods. As a researcher, she has published work in sustainability, education, and consumer behaviour.

Research Interests

Research interests and expertise

My research interests and experience centre on the intersections of marketing, digital transformation and educational innovation. I am particularly interested in exploring how digital tools and EdTech can improve student engagement, knowledge retention and the development of practical skills in online and blended learning environments. In addition, my research focuses on social impact marketing and corporate social responsibility, examining the ways in which these values can be integrated into academic programmes to better prepare students for meaningful contributions to society.

I welcome the opportunity to supervise research projects in areas such as marketing strategy, social responsability, EdTech integration in higher education. I am especially enthusiastic about supporting research that connects theory with practical, industry-relevant outcomes, empowering students to make an impact in a digitally-driven, socially-conscious world.
