Associate Lecturer, Ballet Technique
After graduating in 1993 from the Royal Academy of Dance, I joined Angela Praed's contemporary dance company C.O.D from 1995-98, performing across the South West and London, including Jackson's Place and also at Glastonbury Festival.
I have taught Classical Ballet technique since 1993 in RAD Syllabus classes and non-syllabus Classes in both Private Dance schools and Educational/FE settings across the UK, and at Summer Schools in the UK, US and China.
I have taught ages from 3.5 years to Adult. Pre-Primary to Advanced 2, plus prepared and entered for all levels of examinations. I became an Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance in 2007.
Having taught in Higher Education at BTEC, A Level and undergraduate level, I've been teaching Classical Ballet on the Dance & Choreography degree at Falmouth University since 2014 and commenced teaching on the Musical Theatre degree in September 2020.
