Amanda Collins
Lecturer
Amanda is a theatre director and actor trainer. She trained as a director at Rose Bruford College and went on to gain an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As a director, Amanda has worked both nationally and internationally, including work for The Barbican Theatre Plymouth, Hull Truck, The Octagon Bolton, Soho Theatre, Paines Plough, Birmingham Rep, Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, Dreams Before Dawn Festival in Paris, Sibiu Theatre Festival in Romania and Bred in the Bone Theatre Company.
Before joining the team at Falmouth, she taught and directed at a number of drama schools and universities, including The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford College, Kingston University, Plymouth Marjon and Bird College. She also continues to work with actors as an acting coach, and is Co-Artistic Director of The Wheel Theatre & Training Company in Plymouth.
