Transmedium Space Habitat for Human Colonisation in Outer Space

As humanity take the first steps into becoming an interplanetary civilisation, it is imperative that we acquire the capability to sustain life in extraterrestrial environments. In order to achieve this challenge, we aim to propose, develop and design a Transmedium Space Habitat for Human Colonisation in Outer Space.

Through a specialisation in Space Architecture at TU Wien, in Austria, and with what I am learning there, I am opening new fields of research regarding the design of habitats in the most extreme environments in the Universe. Upon that knowledge acquisition I will be proposing, developing and designing a Transmedium Space Habitat for Human Colonisation in Outer Space.

Dr Tiago Pinto da Costa is an international architect born in Porto - Portugal, registered within the Architects Registration Board, chartered in the Royal Institute of British Architects and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a Doctor of Architecture, degree earned at University Lusiada of Porto, that has its architecture roots in the “Porto School of Architecture” - the internationally recognised architecture teaching theory.
