If you're looking for a postgraduate research opportunity, then Falmouth offers a wide range of research degrees and doctoral studentships.
Our multi-disciplinary research is committed to shaping solutions for societal change through innovation, technology, creativity and the arts. You can apply for a research degree at Falmouth by either responding directly to one of our Doctoral Project briefs or by submitting a project idea of your own.

Doctoral Project briefs
We invite MPhil and PhD project proposals that respond to our Doctoral Project briefs. Each of our Doctoral Project briefs is aligned with our overarching Research & Knowledge Exchange strategy and reflect our priority areas of research interest. Doctoral Project briefs are expressed in the form of challenges and have been designed to elicit a range of creative responses.
Doctoral Studentships
Applicants responding to any of our Doctoral Project briefs are eligible to be considered for a fully funded studentship for enrolment in September 2020 and September 2021.
Studentships are available to both UK and International students applying for a research degree at Falmouth.
