What to expect on the day
Our campuses will be open from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Please arrive at least half an hour before your academic session booking. On the day, you can also attend campus tours, which run throughout the day and don't require a booking. So, you can expect to be at the Open Day for a few hours in addition to your academic session booking.
- Welcome – When you arrive on campus, you’ll be met by our friendly Future Studies team. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions, such as how to apply, what our accommodation options are and how to navigate student finance. You’ll also get to speak to our Student Ambassadors, who’ve got lots of insights and advice to share about life at Falmouth.
- Academic session – During your booked academic session, you’ll hear about the course, how it's delivered and what modules will be available. You'll also get to meet a lecturer from the subject area you're interested in, who'll show you around the department facilities and answer all your questions.
- Accommodation tours - you will get to explore our Glasney on campus student accommodation at the Penryn campus. You do not need to book these tours and they run throughout the day.
- Campus tour – On a campus tour you’ll get to visit our professional-standard facilities and get a better idea about life on campus. Our Future Studies team will let you know the tour times and meeting points when you arrive. You do not need to book these tours and they run throughout the day.
- Drop in sessions - During the Open Day there will be drop in sessions covering topics such as how to apply and portfolio advice throughout the day. You do not need to book these sessions.
