Amazing Asia
Illustration BA graduate Jason Lyon has co-produced a beautifully crafted children’s encyclopaedia, Amazing Asia. The book, which took Jason 12 months to illustrate, explores the rich diversity and history of Asia across its five regions: East, West, North and Central, South, and Southeast.
Are Wolves Afraid of the Dark?
Photography Associate Professor Huw Lewis-Jones invites adventurous readers on a journey into the wild to explore whether wolves are as big and bad as their reputation suggests. Released earlier this year, the book joins Huw’s extensive collection of publications, many of which make excellent gifts.

Business & Digital Marketing BSc(Hons) student Ben Perkins is a student jeweller and blacksmith who creates custom items that are perfect for gifts. His pieces range from sand-inlaid rings and dimpled necklaces through to forged bottle openers and keyrings.

Illustration BA(Hons) student Jess Lila Wood creates linocut prints based on Irish mythology and folklore. She also sells a wide range of hand-designed, carved and printed illustrations, cards and stickers.
Domadomadoma - Blumblumblum: Conversations with Other Animals
Professional Writing MA lecturer Luke Thompson released his new book, titled Domadomadoma-Blumblumblum: Conversations with Other Animals, earlier this year. The book is a playful, cultural, and literary exploration of human attempts to converse with animals, and follows Luke as he embarks on an eccentric personal journey.

Illustration: Authorial Practice MA student Emilia Cornwell uses inspiration from nature to create calendars and prints.
Frip felts
Illustration BA(Hons) student Rosa Blincko makes handcrafted needlefelt items such as keyrings and magnets. Also available are risograph prints and handcrafted lino print Christmas cards.

Krautpop! Records
Student Records Officer Debby Wright helps run Krautpop!, a small indie label that began life in Köln and is now based in Penryn. It works with bands from Falmouth to Finland to put out choice chunks of vinyl & CDs (even the odd cassette).

Fashion Design BA(Hons) student Rubi-May Mason sells groovy handmade crochet items ranging from Snazzy Shroom and Funky Frog plushies to Axolotls, accessories, home decor, clothing, and more! In addition to their large range of items for sale, they also take custom orders, so you can bring your pets and loved ones to life as the perfect gift this Christmas.
Seaglass Prints
Illustration: Authorial Practice MA student Ted Balaam combines traditional portrait theory with a mixed media approach to great these impressive series of animal and musician prints. They use a watercolour, texture overlays and photo college to create something both realistic and abstract.
Tip Top Table Tennis
Games Academy graduates and founders of Studio 316 released Tip Top Table Tennis earlier this year. This standalone table tennis game for the Nintendo Switch captures the spirit of classic Wii Sports titles.
Yallah Coffee
Broadcasting graduate Richard Blake co-founded and still runs Yallah Coffee, based on a farm outside Falmouth. Their Christmas range includes many coffee types, clothing and Christmas decorations.
8Track SB
Graphic Design BA(Hons) student Ben Sleath started his side project 8Track after printing t-shirts for a college project. He now has handmade clothing for sale that is created using lino, embroidery, sewing and screenprinting.
13 Cornish Ghost Stories
Senior Lecturers Marie Macneill and Dr Jo Parsons edited 13 Cornish Ghost Stories, released earlier this year. The project began as a lunchtime conversation, and they later invited fellow lecturer Derek Hayes to create original illustrations to accompany the tales.
