Games Academy Facilities

Falmouth has one of the largest dedicated game development studio spaces of any UK university. Our students have access to spacious, team-focused, professional-standard studios; as well as a dedicated craft room, breakout spaces, and a range of industry-standard software, management tools and game engines. 

The Games Academy’s expansive studios are open late during term time, encouraging creative collaborations between students. Students also have access to weekly life drawing sessions, motion capture suits, augmented reality and mixed reality technology, and 3D printers.

  • Over 400 high-end computers for development, over half featuring the latest Nvidia RTX graphics cards

  • Xsens MVN Awinda motion capture suits

  • Studiobricks voiceover recording studio
  • A range of audio field recording kits
