About the accommodation

The View is located in the centre of Falmouth town, and is a 10 minute walk from our Falmouth Campus. These halls of residence are also within walking distance of Falmouth High Street and Falmouth Town train station and bus stops, providing straightforward access to Penryn Campus and the city of Truro.

The information on this page is for students starting in September 2025.

The View is managed by a private management company, and approved by Falmouth University. The private management company are responsible for the maintenance, cleaning and health and safety compliance for the building and individual flats. If you choose to live in The View, your contract will be with the private management company directly, not Falmouth University.

Where is it?

The View is located in the heart of Falmouth, close to the High Street and a variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Penryn Campus and Truro can also be easily reached via train from Falmouth Town train station, or by bus. There is a bus stop 10 minutes walk from The View.

About the rooms

There are a variety of room types available at The View, all in shared flats of varying sizes. The flats all come with shared kitchens, living areas and bathrooms or shower rooms. A small selection of rooms at The View are en-suite.

How much does it cost?

The below costs refer to students starting in September 2025.

Price: Rooms prices vary, from £190 to £230 per week. This gives a total cost from £7,980 to £9,660 for the length of the tenancy.
Deposit: For all rooms, the deposit is £50.
Tenancy: For all rooms, the tenancy length is 42 weeks.

There are three room types at The View: Standard double, Medium double and Large double.

When applying for The View you will see a price range and a list of room types. You will only be able to apply for a Standard room, however those students that are allocated to this residence will be allocated any one of those room types.
